Each proof set consists of four coins of exquisite craftsmanship, all with a face value of 400 Yuan. The obverse design of each coin is the national emblem of the People’s Republic of China, the reverse designs are, respectively, Tian An Men, the Monument to the People’s Heroes, the Great Hall of the People and Chairman Mao Memorial Hall.
