For your consideration is an Antique 1839 James Wintle London, England .925 Sterling Silver Gilt Verge Fusee Alarm Pocket Watch in very good pre-owned working condition. This pocket watch made by the London, England silversmithing firm of James Wintle circa. 1839 features a white porcelain dial with roman numeral hour markers, gold colored hands, fine sterling silver case and fusee style movement with a rare alarm complication. The piece overall is in very good pre-owned condition with a very clean dial, fairly good original glass crystal with only one small distraction at the 3 o'clock position, original sterling silver case showing off a patina with small dents to the case back, original preserved mirrored finish on the interior portions of the sterling case and working movement as well as a working alarm system. This watch does not come with a key.
