For your consideration is an antique patent 1870 Tiffany & Co. Saratoga Pattern Sterling Silver Engraved Flat Handle Master Butter Spreader Knife in excellent pre-owned condition. This master butter spreader knife by Tiffany & Co. features their patent 1870 Saratoga pattern crafted in fine sterling silver. The presidential initial 'M' indicates this piece was made between 1873 to 1891 under the directorship of Edward C. Moore. The knife shows light signs of handling with an original polished finish, some areas of tarnish, some light hairline scratches and no monograms or major cosmetic issues. This master butter spreader will be accompanied with a Tiffany & Co. blue felt with white stitching fold over pouch.

This master butter spreader was examined by a GIA graduate gemologist to verify the authenticity of the stones and/or metal purity. All of our pre-owned items are guaranteed authentic.
