For your consideration is an Art Deco 1932 Longines 18k White Gold Channel Set French Cut Sapphire Rim 17 Jewel Cal.17.95M Open Face Presentation Pocket Watch in very good to excellent pre-owned working condition. This watch was presented by Luis Miguel Sanchez the former president of Peru to his doctor Ernesto Delgado in 1932 for the care he received by him. The president would be assassinated the following year in 1933. This pocket watch crafted by Longines features a custom made 18k white gold three body case with channel set French cut sapphire rim/bow, glass crystal, Silver dial with Arabic numerals, fleur di lis/spear hands and a fine swiss made caliber 17.95M 17 jewel movement. The watch is in overall excellent pre-owned condition with light signs of wear. The cuvette is engraved with the following: Al Dr. Ernesto Delgado G. Su Amigo Agradecido, Luis M. Sanchez Cerro, 6 - 3 - 1932. The original box shall be included.
