For your consideration is an Antique Art Nouveau #257 Sterling Silver Vermeil Compact Pendant With Powder Puff in very good to excellent pre-owned condition. This compact by an unknown maker (hallmark is illegible) features the # 257 pattern in repousse style crafted in fine sterling silver with a vermeil interior and original ostrich feather and sterling silver powder puff. The compact/pendant shows light handling wear throughout with a lightly worn but bright finish, gold vermeil interior is very good with minor wear, the mirror's silver foil is peeling and will need to be redone, the powder puff made of ostrich feathers has survived the test of time and has very old powder residue and the reverse side is engraved with the name 'Edith' in cursive.
These earrings were examined by a GIA graduate gemologist to verify the authenticity of the stones and/or metal purity. All of our pre-owned items are guaranteed authentic.
