For your consideration is an antique 1896-1918 WW1 British Commonwealth Army Ordinance Corps Shell .925 Sterling Silver Inkwell in pre-owned condition. This inkwell made by an unknown silversmith for the Army Ordinance Corps of the British Commonwealth features their insignia set in shell with a sterling body, brass interior where the ink is held and shell base. The inkwell shows average to moderate surface wear with a worn finish, small dents on the body and larger dents on the edges, scratches on the shell base, some oxidation on the brass and no monograms.
